CLAT Exam Pattern 2024
This year CLAT Consortium has announced changes in the CLAT 2024 Exam pattern. The changes have been focused to make CLAT less complicated and offering admissions to the more competent candidates. Discussions on the new patterns are currently underway and the final notification for the CLAT 2024 Exam pattern will be released in the last week of December. The date of the exam has already been announced i.e, 10th May 2024.
The CLAT 2024 Exam pattern includes changes like reduction in no. of questions from 200 to 120-150. A new subject has been introduced too i.e, Deductive reasoning. Aspirants need not be confused about the exam pattern. They should keep themselves updated with the changes that have been made in CLAT 2024 Exam pattern and start their preparations accordingly.

- The mode of the exam will be offline.
- No. of questions has been reduced to 120-150 from 200 but the time will be the same as it was earlier that is 2 hours.
- Questions will be comprehension based thus aspirants will have to improve their reading skills.
- The question paper will have 5 sections - Quantitative Techniques, English, Current Affairs, Deductive Reasoning, and Logical Reasoning.
- Candidates will be givenOMR sheets, where they have to answer by coloring the correct option.
- For the first time, the Carbonised OMR Sheet will also be provided to the aspirants.
- General Knowledge and Legal Aptitude have been removed from the syllabus of CLAT 2024.

CLAT 2024 Exam Centres
NUSRL, Ranchi has announced the test centers for CLAT 2024. It is expected that there will be 40 test centers for CLAT 2024 where the offline exam is going to take place as last year. Deductive reasoning: Deductive reasoning relies on a general hypothesis or statement. The statement is used to reach a specific logical conclusion.
For e.g, if A = B and B = C, then Deductive reasoning tells us that A = C.
In DEDUCTIVE reasoning the conclusions are drawn only from the information given in the question, not from the facts or our knowledge. the most common types of deductive reasoning questions are syllogisms.
