AILET Exam Pattern 2024 

AILET 2024 exam pattern has already announced by the NLU Delhi for the both the programs- BA LLB and LLM on its official website. AILET 2024 Exam pattern will help the candidates in their preparations.

According to the AILET exam pattern 2024, the exam is going to be conducted in offline mode. The questions that will be asked in the AILET 2024 will be of MCQ type. Candidates have to answer on OMR Sheet provided in the examination. The medium of the examination will be English.

Candidates must go through the exam pattern of AILET 2024 as it will help them in their preparations by providing all the necessary information like the number of questions, topics to be covered, marking pattern, etc.

The no. of questions, the time durations, and the marking pattern will be the same for both the courses in AILET 2024 but the topics will be different. There will be 150 questions each of having 1 mark. The total marks will be 150.

There will be negative marking also in the AILET 2024. 0.25 mark will be deducted for each wrong answer.

Topics that will be asked in AILET 2024

The topics from which questions will be asked in AILET 2024 are different for both the Courses- BA LLB and LLM.
For BA LLB Program the question paper will be having questions from General Awareness, Legal Aptitude, Reasoning, Maths, and English Comprehension. 
For the LLM program, the questions paper will include topics like Criminal Law, Constitutional Law, Law of Contract, Jurisprudence, Law of Tort and International Law, etc.

For BA LLB program

  • English Comprehension - This section will contain questions supported an unseen passage.
  • General Knowledge - This section will include questions from Current Affairs, History, Civics, Geography, Economics, General science. 
  • Reasoning- In this section, the questions will be asked from the series, analogy, and critical reasoning.
  • Legal aptitude - Questions will be asked from Constitution, Fundamental Rights, IPR, Indian Penal Code, Family Law, Labor Law, Problem-solving ability and Research aptitude.
  • Maths- This section will include questions from Fraction, Probability, Clock, Average, Age, Partnership, Mixture & alligations, Ratio & proportions
