MH CET LAW Eligibility Criteria 2020
Before filling up MH CET LAW 2020 candidates must go through its eligibility criteria. it’s mandatory to meet the eligibility criteria to apply for MH CET LAW 2020. The candidates who will not be able to meet the prescribed eligibility criteria their candidature will be cancelled and they wouldn’t be allowed for the further admission process.
The tentative dates for MH CET LAW 2020 have been released on its official CET CELL website. Application form for the 3-year degree program will be released on 20th January and for the 5-year degree program, will be released on the 19th March. candidates need to fill the application form before the due date. MH CET LAW 2020 exam for the 5-year degree program and the 3-year degree program will be conducted on 12th April and 28th June respectively.Before filling up the form candidates need to check their eligibility.
Eligibility criteria for MH CET LAW 2020
Eligibility Criteria for admissions to LLB 3- year program
- Candidate should be an Indian national.
- Candidates should have completed their graduation. it should be noted that 10+2+3 is mandatory for appearing in the 3 - year law program of the MH CET LAW 2020 entrance examination.
- The aggregate marks in the qualifying examination are different as per the category. the aggregate marks required as per the categories are given below

- Candidates having a graduation degree from the Open University, recognized by UGC, are also eligible to apply.
- Candidates in their final year of graduation are also eligible to apply for MH CET LAW 2020.
Eligibility Criteria For 5-year Degree Programme :
- Candidates should have completed their 12th or intermediate to appear for the 5-year degree program of MH CET LAW 2020 entrance examination.
- Minimum aggregate marks in qualifying examination according to categories are given below

Candidate should also follow the candidature criteria as described by the MH CET. the candidature types are given below
1. Maharashtra state candidature :
- Type A: A candidate who was born in Maharashtra
- Type B: Father or mother of the candidate having domicile of Maharashtra
- Type C: The father/mother of the candidate is an employee of central govt. And posted in Maharashtra before the last date to submit the application form
- Type D: The Father/mother of the candidate is an employee of Maharashtra govt.
- Type E: The candidate passing 10th and 12th examination or equivalent from a recognized institution of disputed Maharashtra - Karnataka border area having MARATHI mother tongue
2. All India candidature :
- Candidates having Indian nationality who have passed their 10th and 12th from government recognized institution outside of Maharashtra come under this category
3. Minority candidature :
- The candidates who have passed their 10th and 12th from Maharashtra or domiciled in Maharashtra fall under specific categories or minorities come under this category.
- The candidates who are fulfilling the above eligibility criteria can apply the form for MH CET LAW 2020. Candidates who don’t meet the eligibility criteria will not be allowed for admission process even if he/she qualifies the examination.
