The Do’s and Don’ts of preparing for BBA entrance exam
Previously there was no BBA entrance exam for any college or any university, but with rise in percentage of students taking admission for this course the colleges and universities have started to have their own BBA entrance exam. Students are being provided admission based on the merit score of the entrance exam. Before taking up the exam students must be fully aware of syllabus of the exam. Most of the BBA entrance exams are mostly same. The exam consists of basically four sections. Students are supposed to study hard for each of the section and no section can be left out. The four sections are aptitude test, English test, numerical test and general awareness. Preparation for English and general awareness test can best be done by reading English newspapers, watching English new channel. The words learned in both of these medium of communication will definitely help to improve English language as well as general knowledge. Most of the students read regional newspaper and listen to local news channel and then they try to translate it to English which leads to improper understanding of the subject. Students should strictly avoid local and regional newspapers and news channels. For aptitude and numerical section of the BBA entrance exam students should try to solve as many as mock test and try to improve on reducing the time taken to solve the mock test. Generally students solves one or two mock test and they feel confident buy in reality they tend to be over confident and so variety of mock test will help to gain pure confidence and this will avoid students getting over confident. Studying from one book will not have variety in question so students should refer at least two or three books of different authors which will help them to understand the multiplicity of questions that can be asked in the BBA entrance exam. Students should strictly evade from using calculator while solving mock test, they should try to solve the numerical problems by doing calculations mentally, or else they will start relying heavily on calculator for calculations and in the exam they will lose time solving numerical problems. Mental math will help them to solve numerical faster and quickly. If students are taking mock test at home then most of the time students get bored solving them and they keep it unfinished. Sincere students take mock test at coaching institutes and get their doubt clarified. Students who take mock test at home most of time ignore their doubts. No student should leave any doubt un clarified, even if he is taking mock test at home or at coaching. For improving general knowledge student should not leave any topic happening around. Every student must at least have some idea of each thing happening in and around the world.
Appearing the exam after hard work and confidence is the last thing in the hands of the students. With the help of last year’s cut off and present year’s highest score of an individual the BBA merit list 2019 will be prepared. Then students can check their ranking and can apply to colleges and universities based on their ranks in the BBA merit list 2019. Cut off marks or cut off percentage of a particular colleges or university is based on the merit list.
Frankly saying, students should only concentrate on their hard work and they should study with dedication for the exam, they should not worry of the results and admission. If their hard work is honest then they are bound to get admission in good college or university.
