National Council for Hotel Management and Catering Technology (NCHMCT) conducts the NCHM entrance exam for hotel management. The admission to Institute of Hotel Management (IHM) for B.Sc. program after the completion of higher secondary will be done on the basis of NCHM Joint Entrance Exam.

The exam pattern of NCHM JEE is decided by NCHMCT exam conducting authority. The duration of exam is 3 hours. The exam is being conducted in both Hindi and English language leaving the ‘English language’ section of exam. The exam has 200 questions divided in 5 sections. The format of the examination is Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) with the provision of 0.25 negative marking in case of each wrong answer.
