Candidate who are looking forward their career in the Hospitality and Hotel Administration are required to give entrance exam to get admission in the best Institutes of Hotel Management. The candidates need to give National Council for Hotel Management Joint Entrance Exam (NCHM JEE) conducted by National Council for Hotel Management and Catering Technology (NCHMCT). NCHM JEE is the gateway to get admission in the top private institutes, state government colleges as well as top IHM’s for hotel management courses.
Hotel Management Entrance Exam Syllabus
The exam is conducted both in Hindi and English language leaving the ’English Language’ section. The pattern of exam is Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) and it carries 200 questions. The duration of NCHM JEE Exam is 3 hours. There is negative marking of 0.25 in case of each wrong answers. The hotel management entrance exam syllabus is divided broadly in 5 sections and their weightage in exam is listed in the table below –
