Educational eligibility criteria:
Grade XII pass out or three-year diploma holder with min. 50% marks
- If you are a 12th pass-out then any board is acceptable whether it is CBSE, ICSE or some other. Plus, your grade XII score should be not less than 50% in aggregate. Also, you should have cleared the following subjects
- English
- Maths or computers.
The computer course could be any one of these
- Multimedia and web technology
- Web application or data management application
- Computer science
- Computer application
- Information practices

When your eligibility is that you are a three-year diploma holder then it should be in any branch of engineering. The polytechnic institute where you did your diploma should be recognized by an examining body and should be approved by the All India Council for technical education. The next pertinent IPU CET BCA 2023 eligibility is that your diploma score should not be less than 50%.
Age limit criteria- Not more than 21 years of age as on August 1, 2023
No matter the educational qualifications you will not be eligible as per the IPU CET BCA exam eligibility 2023 if you are more than 21 years of age as on 01 August 2023.
Provisional admission for those appearing in the qualifying exam subject to clearing the exam.
- Those who are appearing in the qualifying exam ( great XII exam or Diploma exam finals ) will be allowed to appear for the BCA CET exam keeping in my mind the caveat that one would not be given admission in the BCA program of any college despite clearing the exam if at the time of admissions one is seen to not fulfill the eligibility criteria.
- Keep in mind that the results of the qualifying exam will not be rounded off for the purpose of fulfilment of the eligibility of IPU CET BCA exam. Those who failed the qualifying exam will not be given admission in the BCA course. If these students who fail the qualifying exam have paid the admission fee towards BCA admission in any college then such fee will be forfeited.
Certain colleges may relax the educational qualifications criteria, and age criteria while offering admissions. Then the IPU CET BCA Test Eligibility will not apply.
If you are eligible to appear in the BCA entrance exam on the basis of IPU CET BCA Entrance Exam Eligibility then you will be selected to study this BCA course in one of the BCA colleges affiliated to the GGSIPU on the basis of the score, and rank in this exam.
