AILET Eligibility Criteria

Now let us look at the eligibility criteria which one needs to meet in order to be eligible to sit for the AILET exam. The following conditions need to be met.

The candidate should be less than 20 years old as on July 1 of the year of application if he belongs to the general category and should be less than 22 years of age as on July 1 of the year of application if he belongs to the SC and ST category.
The candidate must have cleared the qualifying exam i.e. 10+2 with a minimum of 50% marks.
Candidates appearing in the qualifying exam can also appear.

AILET 2018 Application Form - How to fill and how to apply online

AILET Application Form for AILET exam 2018 will be in the public domain by January 2018. Candidates must filled the Application Form with correct information and must be submitted before the AILET application form last date i.e. April 2018. One can access these forms from the official National Law University, Delhi website. All students who wish to sit for the AILET exam 2018 which is going to be held on May 6,2018 to gain admission to NLU, Delhi have to fill the form.

NLU Delhi will issue AILET Admit Card 2018 which can be downloaded by applicants online. Admit card of All India Law Entrance Test (AILET) 2018 is the hall ticket that must be carried on the day of the exam by each candidate. AILET admit card will be made available on the website and this Hall ticket is unique for each test taker. The NLU Delhi Admit Card 2018 for AILET contains details of the exam venue and candidate’s information. You can download the AILET Admit Card here by entering email address and password.

Aspirants who are aiming to pursue BA LLB (Hons) at National Law University (NLU), Delhi have to appear for AILET exam in order to secure admission. After the declaration of AILET results, NLU Delhi will release a separate list of the selected candidates.

The AILET Result of the All India Law Entrance Test held for the B.A., LL.B (Hons.) course on 06 May 2018 has been declared online on the University website. AILET Result published online as per the schedule is given below. AILET counseling 2018 process is due in May 2018 soon after the results of the law entrance exam. The final step towards admission is AILET counselingAILET exam sees approximately 20,000 applicants each year and these applicants vie for 83 seats in AILET seat allotment in NLU Delhi. This means there is so much competition that for every seat in AILET seat allotment there are more than 200 contenders. Out of the total of 83 seats there is a reservation such that only 52 seats are for general students, 11 for SC candidates, 5 for ST category, persons with disability have 2 seats reserved for them, 2 seats are for students from J&K and 1 seat for Kashmiri migrants and finally there are last ten seats which are for foreign nationals.
