Question: For the first time LSAT India is getting into proctored examination. Can you explain what proctored examination is and how it bodes well for the future of ed tech and the student comfort?

Answer: In these extremely tough times of Covid-19 pandemic, we have been forced to go for the ISAT India exam. I think it is quite helpful for the test-takers to leave their family and go out in this situation. It is quite safe for them as well as for the candidates too. The biggest concern of Online Exam mode is the practice of misconduct or cheating. People may think that it would be very easy to cheat in online mode but I think in classroom tests, 2 or 3 invigilators can't keep an eye continuously for 40-50 students. But I think in the case of Online Mode, the candidates are giving exams on their computers and the machine is watching you continuously and the machines don't get tired or distracted after a long time like humans and will flag any kind of suspicious behaviour for a review by a human or their experts. I think in some sense it is actually going to be quite difficult to get away with any kind of misconduct so I do understand that concern.
